Ingredients
- 1 Tofu block
- 240 mls (1 cup) Soy sauce
- 240 mls (1 cup) Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsps Maple syrup
- 480 mls (2 cups) Cooked sushi rice
- 1 Cucumber, medium
- 2 Carrots, medium
- 1 Avocado, large
- 2 Nori sheets
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions.
- Cut cucumber, carrots, and avocado into strips.
- Cut the nori sheets into thin strips.
- Assemble the bowl by placing sushi rice at the bottom, arranging marinated tofu, cucumber, carrots, avocado, and nori strips on top.
- Drizzle with remaining marinade or soy sauce before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the tofu is well-drained before marinating.
- You can customize the vegetables according to your preference.
