Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the canned jackfruit. Cut off the core and shred the pieces by hand or with a fork.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the shredded jackfruit to the pan along with smoked paprika. Stir well and cook for about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour in the BBQ sauce and stir to combine. Let it simmer for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
