Ingredients

  • 1 firm tofu block
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 480 mls (2 cups) Thai basil leaves
  • 240 mls (1 cup) green beans
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 2 chili chopped
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Press tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and chili
  3. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown
  4. Add green beans and soy sauce, cook for another 3-4 minutes
  5. Stir in Thai basil leaves and salt, cook for 1-2 minutes
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spice by adding more or less chili
  • Make sure to use firm tofu for this recipe
