Thai Basil Pork Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 2 tbsps vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 red chili, thinly sliced
- 400 gms (0.89 lb) ground pork
- 2 tbsps oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 60 mls (0.25 cup) water
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves
- 100 gms (0.22 lb) green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red chili slices, stir fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the ground pork and stir fry until it is no longer pink, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well to combine.
- Add the water and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Add the green beans and red bell pepper slices. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves until they wilt.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
