  • 2 red chili, sliced
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsps dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced red chili to the pan, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the thinly sliced chicken breast to the pan, and stir-fry until the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced shallots to the pan and continue to stir-fry for another minute.
  5. Pour in the dark soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Add the fresh Thai basil leaves to the pan, and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until the basil is wilted and fully incorporated.
  7. Serve the Thai Basil Chicken Stir-Fry immediately with steamed jasmine rice.
