  • 500 gms (1.11 lbs) chicken breast, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 8 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and onion, and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the finely chopped chicken breast to the pan, and cook until no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the red chili flakes, soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves until they are wilted.
  6. Spoon the Thai basil chicken mixture into the lettuce leaves to create wraps.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
