Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 2 Chicken breast
- 240 mls (1 cup) Soy sauce
- 240 mls (1 cup) Honey
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 2 tbsps Vegetable oil
- 720 mls (3 cups) Mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsps Water
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 Green onions stalks
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and place them in a bowl
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the marinade
- Pour half of the marinade over the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes
- In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat
- Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook until slightly tender
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry
- Pour the remaining marinade into the wok, then add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce
- Stir well until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles
Notes
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for best flavor
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce and honey based on your preference
