Ingredients
- 1 Phyllo dough package
- 500 gms (1.11 lbs) Spinach
- 200 gms (0.44 lb) Feta cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsps Dill
- 2 tbsps Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish
- Sauté chopped onion in olive oil until translucent
- Add spinach and cook until wilted, then let it cool
- In a bowl, mix the spinach mixture with crumbled feta, beaten eggs, and chopped dill
- Layer half of the phyllo sheets in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with olive oil
- Spread the spinach filling evenly on top of the phyllo layers
- Cover the filling with the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each sheet with olive oil
- Score the top layer of phyllo with a sharp knife into squares or diamonds
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the phyllo is golden brown and crispy
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving

- You can adjust the amount of feta cheese based on your preference
