Ingredients

  • 1 Phyllo dough package

  • 200 gms (0.44 lb) Feta cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsps Dill
  • 2 tbsps Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish
  2. Sauté chopped onion in olive oil until translucent
  3. Add spinach and cook until wilted, then let it cool
  4. In a bowl, mix the spinach mixture with crumbled feta, beaten eggs, and chopped dill
  5. Layer half of the phyllo sheets in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with olive oil
  6. Spread the spinach filling evenly on top of the phyllo layers
  7. Cover the filling with the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each sheet with olive oil
  8. Score the top layer of phyllo with a sharp knife into squares or diamonds
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the phyllo is golden brown and crispy
  10. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving
