Ingredients
- 4 Mackerel fillets
- 4 tbsps Soy sauce
- 2 tbsps Sugar
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Ground black pepper
- 2 Scallions stalks
- 1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper to make a marinade.
- Score the mackerel fillets on both sides, then place them in the marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the mackerel fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped scallions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
