Korean Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 450 gms (1 lb) flank steak
- 240 mls (1 cup) soy sauce
- 240 mls (1 cup) brown sugar
- 2 tbsps sesame oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 carrots medium, julienned
- 1 bell pepper large, sliced
- 1 onion large, sliced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well.
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain and add it to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Add carrots, bell pepper, and onion to the wok. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add green onions and sesame seeds. Toss everything together and cook for another minute.
