Ingredients
- 6 Thinly sliced beef sirloin
- 6 Garlic cloves
- 240 mls (1 cup) Breadcrumbs
- 240 mls (1 cup) Grated Parmesan cheese
- 240 mls (1 cup) Fresh parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsps Olive oil
- 240 mls (1 cup) Red wine
- 480 mls (2 cups) Crushed tomatoes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the breadcrumb mixture onto each slice of beef, then roll them up and secure with toothpicks.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and brown the beef rolls on all sides.
- Add red wine and crushed tomatoes to the pan, bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for about 1.5 hours.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
Notes
- You can use toothpicks to secure the rolls if needed
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread
