Ingredients

  • 500 gms (1.11 lbs) Fish fillets
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Ginger, inch piece
  • 2 Green chili
  • 2 tbsps Curry powder
  • 240 mls (1 cup) Coconut milk
  • 480 mls (2 cups) Cooked rice
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Clean and cut the fish fillets into pieces
  2. Chop the onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, and green chili
  3. In a pan, heat some oil and sauté the onions until golden brown
  4. Add the chopped tomato, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Cook until the tomatoes are soft
  5. Add the curry powder and salt. Mix well
  6. Pour in the coconut milk and bring it to a simmer
  7. Add the fish pieces, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through
  8. Serve the fish curry hot with cooked rice
