Ingredients
- 450 gms (1 lb) Beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- 240 mls (1 cup) Soy sauce
- 240 mls (1 cup) Brown sugar
- 2 tbsps Sesame oil
- 4 Garlic, minced cloves
- 1 Pear, grated, medium
- 2 Green onions, chopped stalks
- 1 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, grated pear, chopped green onions, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef in batches until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve the bulgogi hot with steamed rice, lettuce leaves, and any desired side dishes.
