  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, grated pear, chopped green onions, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef in batches until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Serve the bulgogi hot with steamed rice, lettuce leaves, and any desired side dishes.
