Ingredients
- 500 gms (1.11 lbs) ground beef
- 2 taco seasoning
- 12 taco shells
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 tomato (diced)
- 120 mls (0.5 cup) cilantro (chopped)
- 1 jalapeno (diced)
- 1 lime (juiced)
- to taste salt
- 2 avocados
- 1 garlic (minced) clove
- 240 mls (1 cup) sour cream
- 240 mls (1 cup) cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 240 mls (1 cup) lettuce (shredded)
Instructions
- In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and mix well. Cook according to the seasoning package instructions.
- To make the Pico de Gallo, combine the chopped onion, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, diced jalapeno, and lime juice in a bowl. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
- To make the Goacamole, scoop the flesh of the avocados into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add minced garlic and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Assemble the tacos by filling each shell with a portion of the seasoned beef, then topping with Pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded lettuce.
- Serve the tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side.
