Ingredients
- 900 gms (2 lbs) pork shoulder
- 240 mls (1 cup) bbq sauce
- 240 mls (1 cup) brown sugar
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 6 hamburger buns
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Chop the onion and garlic cloves.
- Place the pork shoulder, chopped onion, chopped garlic, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
- Pour the BBQ sauce and brown sugar over the pork.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easy to shred.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
- Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns and top with additional BBQ sauce.

- You can top the sandwiches with coleslaw for added crunch and flavor
