Ingredients
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 240 mls (1 cup) BBQ sauce
- 1 Coleslaw mix bag
- 240 mls (1 cup) Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsps Apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsps Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 6 Hamburger buns
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker and pour BBQ sauce over them. Cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
- In a separate bowl, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded chicken with the remaining BBQ sauce from the slow cooker.
- Toast the hamburger buns and assemble the sandwiches by placing a generous amount of BBQ pulled chicken on the bottom bun, topping it with a scoop of coleslaw, and finishing with the top bun.
