  • 240 mls (1 cup) BBQ sauce
  • 1 Coleslaw mix bag
  • 240 mls (1 cup) Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsps Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsps Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 6 Hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker and pour BBQ sauce over them. Cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded chicken with the remaining BBQ sauce from the slow cooker.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns and assemble the sandwiches by placing a generous amount of BBQ pulled chicken on the bottom bun, topping it with a scoop of coleslaw, and finishing with the top bun.
